Many people have to make big changes when they follow their dream, but Sister Irene really exemplifies how life altering a calling can be. Initially working in a bank, she always knew she wanted to help people. While she was supporting her parents, she realised she also needed to support her own vision. She never thought she wanted to be a nun, but her life choices have taken her on many an unexpected journey, including living in London for 30 years! Devotion is a word that comes to mind when listening to her speak about the work she has done for decades helping the young and old alike. The work that she does is needed more than ever during the world wide pandemic and Nazareth House have a 20k campaign going in 2020.
