Our surprise guest for the evening was 1001's very own Matthew Kalil. We've been keeping him up our sleeve for a while and it was time to let him loose at The Book Lounge at our most recent story telling session.. Matthew kindly filled in for us when our speaker was not able to attend. Being a published author, lecturer and speaker, meant Matthew was well primed to take the hot seat. He shares some surprising life anecdotes with us (such as how he knows how to iron so well), takes us through the journey to publishing his book, The Three Wells of Screenwriting, and onto a vision he has to uplift writers in South Africa and inspire them to find their authentic voice!
