Desiree's book "We don't talk about. Ever." talks about her own life - and all things unsaid. Her story share makes for as fascinating, open and honest an account of her traumatic childhood, descent into addiction and wealth of hope as a recovering addict and counsellor. Al with the veneer of a "bad B-grade movie" her story is engrossing and ultimately full of hope. Desiree's quest to destigmatise addiction and mental health issues is incredibly important.
